How it Works

The competition is open and free to K-12 teachers and students in Ontario.

Teacher Registration

Teachers register in the activity using the online registration form.  Notification by email will follow of their registration in this year's competition.
When registered, teachers will be able to access an online course management system at Laurier.  Using Laurier's MyLearningSpace (MyLS) teachers will be able to upload maps to a folder or dropbox, where the map submissions will be accessible to the judges.

Submission of Maps

Maps are submitted by the student to the teacher who then uploads them to their dropbox on the competition website (MyLS) at Wilfrid Laurier University.  Computer-based maps will already be in digital form, and paper maps will need to be scanned.

Each map submitted must be clearly labelled with the student's name, grade level and school.  Each student can submit one map.
